Ireland at the Wharf – District Pier DC

March 2018.

Celebrating all things Irish, at the District Pier, DC, in advance of St. Patrick’s Day.
District Pier is where the DC meet the water. It is a vibrant waterfront location with options for leisure, food, shopping, music, water taxis etc, oh yes anything for a good time!

St. Patrick’s never happy without a sip of Guiness

Bagpipers, violinists, drummers are integral part of Irish folklore. There is nothing more amusing than watching and stepping to the tunes of an Irish troop in action.

At the south end of the District pier is the famous fish market. Some long running and quite popular stores here are Jessie Taylor Seafood, Captain White’s Seafood City andI bet anybody tried here will be happy to savor the fresh local sea food. The fish market is one-of-a-kind experience on the waterfront.
